Land Acknowledgment

We humbly acknowledge that Karma Studios is located on the traditional and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, a part of the Anishinaabe Nation, and the ancestral territories of the Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Métis peoples.

We recognize the enduring presence and contributions of Indigenous peoples to this land and honor the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between Indigenous nations to share and care for the land peacefully, symbolized by the dish representing the shared territory and the single spoon signifying responsibility and equity in its use.

As we gather and move together in this space, we reflect on our responsibility to uphold the principles of respect, reciprocity, and reconciliation.
